We invite all guests of the Aad Poshoes to volunteer with us to work on "The dictionary of sounds of the Limburg dialect". You create your own definition of a word and Limburg that we put on this WebSite. Guests who come after you have the advantage that they are already mostly coped with Limburg expressions and use. The issue is therefore how you Limburg word or phrase most clearly someone who can make no dialect.

A brief introduction to the 'flat'
All dialects of Dutch and Belgian Limburg spoken to each other is indicated by the word Limburgish. We can with confidence, because they are very much in common with each other. If you go to that community, you see that clearly differs from the surrounding languages. Thus, the Limburg a large amount of words not in German or Dutch prevented.
In the Province about 750,000 people still speak regularly Limburgish. It is used in all walks of life, in oral and written form, including high-and low-skilled, theater, literature, political debate in the health sector, between officials and citizens on local radio and television.
